The guided tour usually starts at the Plague Column on the Smetana Square, in front of our Information Centre (Smetanovo náměstí 72, Litomyšl). The guide introduces the history and nowadays of the town. Then a walk follows around the Smetana Square, Townhall tower, Knights' House, Bedřich Smetana Monument, Smetana House, Toulovec Square, Alois Jirásek statue, Regional Museum building, Piarist church, its dormitory and Monastery gardens. The tour doesn't include entrance to the objects. The route and the meeting point is subject to change regarding to group's demands. Usually the tour ends at the Castle Hill where the group continues on their own, e.g. with some of the Castle tours, Native flat of Bedřich Smetana, Museum of dolls and toys...

The tour lasts about 80 minutes and is available in Czech, German and English. If booked and arranged in advance also in French and Russian. Other languages on demand, an extra fee for translator may apply.

Stand by the Litomyšl Monument of holocaust victims, where local synagogue used to stay for 60 years.
